1. Families/students must be registered with the Link, sign in every time you come to class, and parents must stay on premises during the class time. Do not allow children to run around the area before, during, or after class.
2. While on the floor, a Black or Brown Belt must always be respectfully addressed as "Mr.," "Miss," or "Mrs." regardless of age. Be sure to respond with "Yes Sir/Ma'am" or "No Sir/Ma'am" in a loud clear voice whenever responding to a question from a Black or Brown Belt.
3. When bowing in, an attitude of respect and silence should be observed. Clear your mind for what you are about to accomplish.
4. Displays of anger, profanity or disrespect are not permitted. They will lead to immediate or permanent dismissal.
5. Students attending K.I.C.S. class are to remain in the designated area before, during, and after class.
6. If a student misses bowing in at the beginning of class he must approach the workout area and remain at attention until the class instructor or a Black Belt bows him into the class.
7. Do not wear earrings, bracelets, watches, necklaces, chokers, or any rings with a raised stone during class. They create a hazard for you and your classmates.
8. Only Brown or Black Belts may wear a black gi. Other students must wear a white gi. When being tested, all students, regardless of rank, must wear a white gi.
9. Brown Belts will be required to assist in teaching as a part of their belt test requirements and will sit on testing boards for lower ranks as part of their training. All members of a testing board will wear a black gi while seated on the testing board.
